chic, late summer wedding in chapel hill

Stacey and Eric, and their precious dog, Atlas, had a beautiful Labor Day Weekend wedding at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. The couple was inspired by the architecture of the Old Well Ballroom for their flowers. They wanted lots of metallic elements with cut glass accents to infuse some modernity into the art deco style space. Crushed blue velvet linens and bridesmaids’ dresses were paired with white, cream, and golden-toned blooms which set against the black and white background of the inn offered a unique design. We used lots of dahlias, roses, scabiosa, tweedia, and snowberry to achieve the look.
