springy farm wedding in summerfield

Laura and Zach’s late April wedding at Summerfield Farms incorporated lots of my favorite locally-grown springtime blooms and foliage: butterfly ranunculus, snapdragon, foxglove, agrostemma, and blueberry foliage. Those ingredients combined with classic and romantic flowers like roses, tweedia, and sweet peas created a harmonious union of shapes and succulent textures for an overall design to sweeten up the rustic barn setting. A hanging installation over the dance floor brought more intentionality to the reception space while a simple cross flower installation placed the focus the couple for the ceremony. Compotes, bud vases, and taper candles were a common theme for their centerpieces. A timeless combo!
